this was by far one of the coolest experiences for a hibachi grill .. the sushi was on point .. eating is amazing .. the whole vibe is good, the restaurant is clean and the personal is so much fun to see and watch. the fish tank is wonderfully sorry that I didn't get a photo stuck in this moment.. but the best experience had all year round. What User doesn't like about Fuji:
chef. recently eaten there with large group. the whole Japanese boss show was only loud and annoying, very little entertaining. our chef thought he was supposed to be the focus of the group meeting. he spent much too much of his time inserting his clanging antik into the conversation of the group. When my wife ordered her steak well, he wouldn't stop. he found out that he could use even more training to know how well... View all feedback.
I wish there was a way to rate the service, food, and restaurant separately. We celebrated my birthday at Fuji's and were seated at one of their hibachi grills. Our hibachi chef was entertaining and friendly...5 stars. The food was very good...4 stars. The ambience in the room wasn't what you would expect for the price we paid. The hibachi grill we were seated at was in a room with restaurant supplies lining the walls. Also, the lighting in the restaurant is too dark, and the general ambience is unimpressive from the moment you walk in the door. Restaurant....2 stars.UPDATE: We returned with a group recently and had a great experience at one of the main hibachi grills.
We like to eat on the dine in side. (Rather than hibachi. Dinner was great, we had a variety between the kids and adults, chicken, steak, sushi, everything was great including the service!
Fair at Best. The gaudy black interior that demonstrates a clear lack of understanding of the understated Japanese business aesthetic is matched by the quality of the food, which is fair at best. Not only this, but the main set of windows looks out on the picturesque scene of the food court in the failing Jefferson City Mall. Tl,dr; Go to Love Sushi instead. The food and atmosphere are better and the prices are more reasonable.
Always a great experience every time! the presentation of each selection is beautiful and their food tastes just as good as it looks!
