The Elbow Room is a longtime favorite of mine, with a menu featuring delicious steaks, porterhouse, filet mignon, burgers, clams casino, clams on the half shell, shrimp cocktail, and salads. The food at this restaurant has consistently been top-notch for many years. The staff is also excellent, making for a great dining experience every time. View all feedback.
What Lizeth Streich doesn't like about Cliff's Elbow Room:
Steak was grizzel. Marinade was flat and tasted like bland tertaky. Oysters AND cocktail sauce was frozen and hadn't thawed completely. I was a big fan of the all the Elbow room restaurants. Tonight I brought my friends and our wives to that them to what I remember to be the best steaks on Long Island. I was actually embarrassed by the meals they serves. We went in for drinks and appetizers. It was a nice clean place. There were TVs on to watch the game. We had delicious appetizers and drinks and had a nice afternoon.
Amazing place. Burger was by far one of the best I’ve had. Carol was amazing. Definitely recommended.
First time here (thanks to Instagram). Drove past many times through the years and never knew it was a restaurant.
First visit to this long island institution after a fund day visiting wineries. Reservation for 6:30 and we were seated immediately. Place was packed and I felt like I was the only one there for the first time lol. Great atmosphere. Started with a mixed order of raw clams and oysters. Both were fresh, perfectly shucked and delicious. Wife went with an order of fried calamari which she enjoyed but was nothing”special”. I’ve heard over and over about their legendary marinade so I went with a Marinated rib eye that was on special. Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare as requested. The marinade was very good, but the real game changer was the delicious compound garlic butter. All and all a low key very good meal. You can see why they have the reputation that they do.
Excellent steaks and burgers. Fantastic char. Love it.
