The food was decent, nothing really stood out, but everything came as ordered and was cooked as it should be. We chose this restaurant because my husband was looking forward to having her butter cake again, but they no longer have it on the menu, so it was disappointing for him. View all feedback.
What Joanie Effertz doesn't like about Miller's Ale House:
Bartender began screaming across the patio towards me directly, at 2am on the dot saying I had to chug my drink or leave it. Then proceeded to run across the room to come and take the glass out of my hand. I understand they closed at 2am but there were plenty of people still there (with drinks in their hands standing at the bar) and our tab was closed out. It was alright I guess. I was recommended this place and told they had huge tenders, but they’re just skinny and long-ish. The breading is disappointing, it’s thin and lacks flavor. The garlic Parmesan sauce is just oil with grated Parmesan and a little bit of garlic. The sweet potato fries were pretty good, but nothing to go crazy over. I’ll end up coming back another time, going to choose something different, and I’ll update my review then. Overall overpriced for food I could cook better at home, except I’m 1,000 miles from home.
This was the first place that I tried out while traveling out of state for work. It was in a good location and the menu had plenty to choose from. Our server was friendly and attentive without seeming to be rushed. We went on a Monday, and their ribs were really good! Honeatly I liked the atmosphere. It was well used and broken in. Comfortable.Plus the look of confusion on our server's face when I ordered my mashed potatoes with only butter made it memorable. (Not sure if plain potatoes with butter is a Minnesota thing or not, but our server had never heard of it!
Came in tonight (12/24) and were placed right in front of the main door in a very cold section. As we were really freezing I asked the lady at the entrance to move to a warmer place in the restaurant but she said this area was closed…. So food arrived warm and became quickly cold. We had dinner with warm jacket and even gloves for my wife so definitely not the best experience for us knowing that staff refused to do anything for us…
Good place to drink a beer and watch a fight or football game. Service is 1 Food is 3

This experience really put a sour mood on my evening and made me feel uncomfortable as other people began staring at me while this all happened.
