Joseph's Pizza On Main St

I drove past this restaurant over the years. Too busy trying. I stopped 10/15/2022 yesterday. Once inside I took a table for two beings, I was single. But I also wanted to see the college football game that was on the TV in my area. I got a paper menu and I checked what they had to offer. A lot of food I thought of spaghetti first, but I don't like much and with sauce very little. So I ordered a medium of pizza with light sauce and cheese. Only with Italian sauce. The waitress told me it takes 35 minutes to get the pizza out. So I'll wait for Dr. Pepper. When my pizza came out, it looked good, but I noticed that the Italian sauce was shaved. I thought first I would eat a flat Philly Steak sandwich A lot of cheese was on the pizza for me and sauce that I had to eat my pizza to scrape cheese and sauce from each slice before I ate it. Before my pizza came out, I saw another table had ordered chicken wings and garlic knots. What I'll try next time. My pizza was good, but I'd rather have what I ordered, light cheese and light sauce. Italian food is very rich for my system and I am not a big fan of cheese. But I'll go back to a meal sometime. My own pizza cheese medium pizza was 12,00 the Italian sausage cost 1,60 with my Dr. Pepper 3.00 Sub Total 16.60 tax 1.25 Dine in total 17.85 I gave my waitress 22.00 her tip was 4.15.

Order the chicken parmesan with the soup. I expected a tiny cup of thin broth, but they bring this huge bowl full of thick Italian stew. My only comment would be, it was very hard on pepper, but I was amazed at the amount and quality. Ordered the chicken parmesan and it was also very good. I know it's nitpicking, but I would have preferred to have a thick piece of chicken over two thin ones, but that's just me. Overall a great place to in and apparently an even better place for taking over the line I saw.

The first time. And wow!!!! Exceptional service. Had the paprika and cheese rollup. It was very good. Husband had the Calzone and said it was great. From the time we went into the door until we left, we felt like regular.

A few years ago, they moved to the neighborhood and eaten here several times when I can count. Go to pizza is a Sicilian buffalo chicken, but the eggplant is also good. Only the problem is that they took the Marsala out of the menu and it was the best!

Family dinner and first time here. This place is an institution on this side of town. Ample parking in back, loved the food and of course the company! We had cheese bread delish baked bread daily, stuffed mushrooms yummy, calzones, pizza and fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. Every thing was delicious. We did not have dessert but the have a awesome variety to choose from. They only not so good thing.. they carry Pepsi product and am a Coca-Cola gal..but no worries I called ahead brought my own ?. Most definitely go back! Great service from Ms. Pat!!!
