Hands down the best pizza in Jacksonville. Best wings too. Excellent hot dogs and great chili cheese fries. Great service. Clean atmosphere. Cooked right in front of you. I highly recommend.Food: 5/5 View all feedback.
What Jeff Lavallee doesn't like about Fu Fired Up Pizza:
Be mindful of no prices of their online menu. We ordered 3 pizzas and one order of wings to go, the total was $85.00. Ouch! Got home the Authentic Di Bufala Margherita was soggy in the middle, all 3 pizzas weren't cut thru the entire way. Although, the pizzas had good flavor and the crust was thin just as we like it. The wings were the best part, had great flavor, very tender and flavorful. All-in-all, was not amazin... View all feedback.
Very cool concept. Food was excellent and the staff was fantastic.Food: 5/5
Hidden gem! Closest to Italian pizza you’re going to get! Light, airy crust, fresh sauce, and cheese, buonissimo! Fresh house salad too with lots of veggies! Caprese, perfetto! Will be back, most definitely.Food: 5/5
We were in Murray Hill picking up our pottery from Jacksonville Pottery Studio (another place I 'd recommend! and decided to stop in as I 've been really curious ever since I heard about a Larry 's with a pizza restaurant in it. I thought it was going to be two separate restaurants sharing a space, but it 's actually all owned by the same people responsible for Larry 's! Just like Larry 's bread is from NY, the pizza dough is made with NY water so it tastes more authentic! I actually don 't really like NY pizza, it 's too thin and floppy and greasy a lot of the time, but Fired Up pizza was really good and while it still had some flop to it, it was much more sturdy! Lol We sat at the bar and from there you can see the pizza cooking in the pizza oven. We saw some wings comes out too that looked realllyyy good!Service at the bar was good! They were nice and told us sort of the history of the Larry 's people deciding to start a pizza restaurant. Food came out quickly too! I 'm currently eating the leftovers for lunch, so I can attest it 's still good the next day reheated in the toaster oven!
Very hot pizza, tasty and spicy as well (recommend the Diavola pizza). Always friendly greetings when I go there. A lot of other foods I plan to try on the menu in the future! ??Parking: Parking is decent; you just have to walk to the back entrance if the front Parking is all that is available.
Well this was a sleeper who knew a sub place could have such delicious pizza . I had a pizza and my husband had wings and let me tell you it was delicious. They have a full bar with all kinds of beers and cocktails. The food was fast and delicious plus they offer a military discount. Next time I think about pizza this will be the first place on my mind.
