What Tam S doesn't like about Famous Sandwiches Subs:
Famous Amos is supposed to be a home-style cooking restaurant, but when compared to Cracker Barrel, it doesn't hold up at all. Cracker Barrel is far superior. The cleanliness here leaves much to be desired, and the waitstaff seem annoyed by customers. Just spent $34.27 for a pork chop breakfast and bacon breakfast and 2 welfare orange juices that the expiration date was wiped off. Everything was served in a paper box half the size of a normal styrofoam tray. The orange juice was Welch’s brand and so dark, the pork chop was half of a bone and fatty. This is worst breakfast I’ve paid $34 for me and my granddaughter. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS PLACE!!! I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS THERE AGAIN.
I come to this famous sandwiches almost every morning for a small french fry or my go to liver and onions plate. I love the food, people and service 10/10
Breakfast is my favorite from this location. My all time go to is the breakfast pita with bacon with a cherry limeade. Always hot and fresh. They usually serve breakfast later than most restaurants, great for a Saturday morning
They do have great breakfast, I haven’t tried lunch. But every time I visit this place, I’ve noticed a fee for using my card and I pay cash every time. Today, the total given to me at the window included that fee which is crazy because they didn’t even know if I was paying cash or card. ALWAYS ask for your receipt. Last week the fee was $0.30 and today it was $0.40. I’m sure they do that to everyone and it’s sad because most people don’t ask for the receipt to confirm the charges. Do better!
One of the best inexpensive places to get breakfast, lunch or dinner. The menu is extensive and the prices are very reasonable. I eat here often during the week. The employees are nice and even remember you if you go as much as I do. ?
