90 Miles From Cuba Authentic Cuban

Great small place, staff was friendly and food came out fairly quick for a weekday lunch. we all got the cuban which was fantastic. I ve had what i thought were cuban sandwiches before but now i see that the others were bad or creative knock offs. I will 100% go back and cant wait to try more from the menu.

Friendly ladies at breakfast. Egg bacon and cheese on Cuban bread. Quick service , good but not memorable food and reasonable price. To be fair we wanted something that wasn't fast food but the breakfast menu is limiting in Cuban fare. Will post again when I've tried something a bit more authentic.

9/2022 Update Still my #1 spot based on affordability and homestyle quality cooking. The best part is they open at 7a! Makes sense they close at 3p. For less than $12 I get a large cafe con leche, 2 eggs, slices of bacon, toasted slices of cuban bread, and a load of sliced potato hash. Despite the distance to get to, I?d rather head here then go to a nearby latin spot in PV that charges $6.50 for a large cafe con leche. Costs $20+ for the same meal. If you love the local diverse vibe and the feeling you are being hosted in a Cuban Mom/Dad kitchen or enclosed porch, then this is it in Jax. Original Excellent spot for legit Cuban cafe con leche and food. Smackin? sandwiches. Wonderful and friendly owners. Excellent cooks. Small space. Busy with good reason. Sure gives the vibes of being in Mom?s kitchen sippin great coffee with family and friends. We used to drive to Daytona for Cuban food. Glad we found a better spot in Jax that we can visit anytime of the week. A must stop if you happen to be on the 295 highway in either direction.

It's like I just visited a few of my titi's and had breakfast made for me. You can tell as soon as you walk in that this place is a treasure. I had the biscuits and homemade gravy, 2 eggs and bacon strips. I am so full but still light bc that food was cooked prepared with love. The ladies are so nice here. I also had a cup of cafe con leche and it was perfecto! Three kisses and five stars. Can recommend this place enough.

Wow! We're adding this to our list of Best of Jax! Food was authentic and delicious. Service is very personal and prices are in line. We'll be back
