Vinny's Italian - Jacksonville Beach

I ordered a sub. Way too much BREAD!! IT WAS AWFUL. I will not be going back.

First time visiting. Wings, beer and antipasto salad. All very good ?.

Service was great garlic bread fresh. But the food was not good. No flavor, and tasted like it was pre packaged. Not authentic fresh made. Sadly this is reason parking lot inside was empty. Service was great though.

The barbecue chicken pizza was overcooked and almost tasteless with very little sauce. I didn't expect chicken wraps to come out as chicken burritos served with french fries. I asked to be plain and yet they had hot lettuce inside of them with chicken in a sauce of some sort. Maybe it's a thing down in Jacksonville but we don't usually make our chicken wraps like burritos.

This was my first and unfortunately my last time trying this place. It had nothing to do with the staff. The woman who took my order was perfectly pleasant.I was expecting New York style thin crust pizza but this was not that. The crust was thick and fluffy and no crisp to it. It reminded me of gas station pizza. The sauce was super garlicky. I am not a fan of pepperoni under the cheese. The cheese did have great flavor and seemed to be high quality.I got a medium 14” pizza with 1 topping and it cost $18.70. This is insane even in the current climate of inflation that we live in.My recommendation is to go elsewhere! Soo many local shops do better (actual) New York style thin. And so many are much more affordable and higher quality than this place.
