Effina's has the best food in Anniston and Jacksonville. It is always consistent and delicious. The service and staff are excellent. Highly recommend reservations Parking: Effina's parking in Jacksonville is terrible. It is very small and large SUVs are extremely hard to park. Anniston has the entire street to park on. I can 't say anything bad about the food. It was fine. But I looked online at the menu and decided to order a Chef 's Salad. It was 13.50. I was charged 18.46. It breaks down like this: The website had the wrong amount. It was actually 14.00. They charged 1.10 for extra dressing (which I didn 't order). 1.51 was the tax charge. Love dinner at Effina's! Service and good are always great. So many options: pizza, steaks, burgers and sandwiches. I never had a bad experience here.
I've been going to Effina for years. You have the best food in Jacksonville. When I get out, they're usually my first choice. The menu has many good choices. fresh salads, steaks, pizzas, sandwiches and pasta. They also have daily specialties and fresh seafood entrees that are amazing. You will spend a few more dollars here than in the other restaurants in the city, but not much, and the food is definitely worth it.
I am very surprised and very disappointed in the bad reviews that Effina's received. I live in Jacksonville and literally have been there a dozen times and have NEVER had a bad experience. The service is pleasant and not too slow, and the food is always excellent. Do yourself a favor and go to Effina's if you want to and are on the fence. You won't be disappointed.
