Vivan Las Pizzas - Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo

We love this place, but never ordered delivery until last night. Ordered a special and got a cold pepperoni. What gives? Called and they said not sure what happened. We will eat here again but will not order delivery.

So nice, we went twice. This is a good restaurant to go to maintain social distancing since there are 3 levels and tables are well spaced. The pizzas are good, cold beer. The bar was closed on one of the nights we were there so don't know about the mixed drinks.

Vivan kind of seems to be in a bit of a rundown neighborhood, but it seemed to be safe enough. The restaurant itself is very nice, clean and comfortable, with a nice breeze and a great view from the upper seating. We were standing near the entrance wondering where to go, and a man I believe was the owner came over and said he had nice seating upstairs if we'd like to look. We did and really enjoyed watching the sunset from up there. We had the Italian as we weren't feeling particularly adventurous and were here partly to take a break from the usual food available in Zihua, and it was delicious. The service was excellent even though the waiter had little English and we have little Spanish. I've never been served dipping sauces with pizza before. The orange colored sauce was mild and delicious, but not needed it would be perfect on fish tacos, though. The red colored sauce, well, it will make your eyes water. We were unable to finish the pizza and asked for a box to take the rest with us, and I was surprised to find that they also packed the sauces for us to take. The prices here were cheap, even for Zihua, making this a great value. There are a surprising number of pizza restaurants in Zihua, friends told us this was one of the best and I believe it, I'll visit here again when in the area.

Always visit when in Zihuatanejo, We love the pizza and the local atmosphere. Prices are great and the beer is cold. All within walking distance from La Rpoa
