Lalo's House - Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo

A must when in the area. Small restaurant with 10 tables and the best shrimp we've had in a long time. My husband and I had the Lalos shrimp which is prepared right at your table. It was outstanding! Served with rice and vegetables. The sauce prepared for the shrimp was extremely tasty with mushrooms, onions and brandy. All favorites of ours! We also had appetizers of fresh guacamole and chips. I had a fresh spinach salad with bacon and a sweeter type of dressing. All were terrific. We will definitely be going back-probably Sunday for the super bowl party. Highly recommend this cozy outdoor restaurant.

OMG! This place was so good! While we were in Ixtapa at an all-inclusive resort we ate at this restaurant two times! The waiter we had was great, the food was fabulous, and the price was outstanding! Most dishes are seafood, but they do have Mexican dishes you can select Chicken or Beef.

We went to this restaurant twice. It was right across the street from the hotel. Great food, great atmosphere, great service and the people that worked there are awesome.

The staff were the most friendly people we encountered. The food was terrific! We had coconut shrimp and garlic shrimp. Portions were large and very tasty. Cooked perfectly. Had the best flan I ever tasted for dessert. Price was well within our budget. I would highly recommend trying this place.

We tried the bacon wrapped lobster and shrimp patty. It was very good. I split it with my husband and it was plenty. Very good food. We enjoyed our dinner while watching all the people waiting to go to the Generals. We recruited a few!
