A great restaurant located amidst houses. At first I really thought the address was wrong but the restaurant was there. Typical german food and very good. The salad and the dressing were great as was the schnitzel and french fries. The establishment was very clean and the staff very friendly. Great presentation of food on the plate. View all feedback.

I just loved it!! A bit difficoult to find due to its location with no map, but WORTH it! Seated outside, very calm, excellent to enjoy a summer evening. Food was great, a bit more expensive than other restourants atownd but well wort it (not to excesive as expected die to trip advisor expense rate). If you have the chance do go!
The place was great for a dinner with a group of people. We used the bowling facilities and it was great fun. The food was very good and the service friendly.
We just spent a week in/around Bavaria. At the end of our trip, we wanted to stay close to the airport to make it easy to catch our morning flight. Instead of opting to go back to the Augustiner Braustuben (as a friend recommended), near Munich City Center to brave the Christmas market crowd, we found Gasthof Wanderer on TripAdvisor. The location is not far from the airport and in a (safe) residential area -- do not be discouraged!Even though we showed up late on a Sunday night (8:40pm), the hostess was very gracious and led us to a table after verifying with the chef. Wow! Absolutely no regrets about our choice!! We wanted traditional Bavarian dishes. I expected brats & potatoes. Instead, we got roast duck on purple cabbage with potato dumplings & pork knuckle wrapped in bacon on a bed of schpatzl. It was delicious!! The duck was crispy outside and not greasy inside. The orange sauce, "very Christmas" the server advised, was a great compliment to the duck and dumpling. The pork was tender and the spatzle was flavorful with the right balance between sauce & cheese. For dessert, we had warm chocolate cake with lemon sorbet & mixed berries. It wasn't too sweet. No one flavor overpowered the others. It was a clean, simple end to a great meal. Downed a bottle of red wine (Cotes-du-Rhone) over the course of our meal. The hostess was beyond gracious even though we (and another table lingered) were the last to leave. Highly recommend if you've got time near Munich airport. It won't disappoint!
Hidden in a residential neighborhood, this restaurant has superb food. We were lucky to have arrived early in the evening--30 minutes after our arrival, LOTS of people without reservations were being turned away. Our waiter Michael, did the work of 3 average waiters, yet still had time to smile and joke with us. Not to be missed if you are in Erding.
