Lovely setting and enjoyed the feel of the place. Set menu was excellent and really good value for money. Can certainly recommend the Sea bass and the cheese board. Will definately revisit for lunch and look forward to a sunny day so we can eat outside. Not sure if I would pay the a la carte prices View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Brasserie:
Slow service, bad attitude. We were going there as part of the Spa package but we all regret it. We requested vegan option and they said they had prepared something but they didnt tell us what. Was a single option. View all feedback.
We were holidaying on the Isle of Wight recently and dined here twice, once with friends and once on our own. As a wheelchair user I find all the facilities excellent. Parking just outside, level access, great toilet facilities. The dining room is on two levels, access to the lower level is via an easy to use lift. The view from the restaurant is lovely. There is always a lot going on in this hotel, baby showers, birthday celebrations etc. The ambience of the hotel lends itself to all these occasions. On both visits we all enjoyed the beautiful food, enhanced with vegetables grown in the hotel's own polytunnel you can't get fresher than that. Service is attentive and unhurried. Prices are reasonable. We will return.

Restaurant on two levels overlooking the river estuary. Very attentive staff and great selection of food on the menu from roast beef and Yorkshire pudding to very tasty Asian chicken with Pak Choy! Delicious.

The place was empty. apart from a couple at the bar talking to the bar man/manager. He ignored us. A young girl turned up in a coat and the barman told her to serve us she said she wasn't workin. There was then a discussion about who was going to serve us. We asked about food and told nothing available until 6 pm.We ordered drinks and sat down. Saw a menu on our table that said snacks available until 9.30 pm even though we were told no food available until 6 pm. We decided not to stay
