Nestling on the seafront we spotted this on arrival and had to visit before we left. We were very glad we did. We got a lovely welcome from both the serving lady and the chap behind the bar. There are seats outside to enjoy the sea air but we sat inside as it was a bit breezy. We loved the decor. The beer was really nice and we were knocked out by the amount of crab on our sandwiches. Not customer friendly, we walked in to ask about availability and they couldn’t have been more unfriendly. The lady we spoke to just didn’t care, clearly surviving on reputation. Avoid View all feedback.
Incredible eating. recommend the white baits and the garlic mushrooms and the personal are sooo beautiful deffinat a visit worth x
The early evening is fantastic here and watched horses galaxing in the surf and fishing (bech casting) what they do was a tasty little pub.
Every time I eat here 3 so far, eat is delicious, beer is pretty and the service and the staff are so helpful and polite and they could not ask for a better view of the sea!
We just came back from our beautiful vacation on isle of wight. above I made an surprise for the 40th birthday in fisherman’s cottage. space was booked over the internet for 9 people, everything was perfectly prepared, even the birthday cake waited for us as we came from birmingham. eating was delicious and perfect, and the view of the sea is simply stunning. highly recommended! defo will be back soon!
Best view when drinking a pint that I know of! Ales are great and although not eaten there, bar snacks looks good
