Families will appreciate the outdoor play equipment, making it a great spot for a meal with kids. Prices are reasonable and there are options for everyone, including vegans. The small portions and limited pudding choices are minor downsides. Overall, this family-run pub near Carisbrooke Castle is a great choice for a meal on the Isle of Wight, with great food choices and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for a relaxed dining experience.
Not bad personal, where very nice tables were sticky and needs a bit replaced dated disabled access there could not get into the doors a no ramp so insecure why they did not 1
Great pub atmosphere, beautiful relaxing pint on a hot summer day, playground for children also
We make sure that we visit the eight bells when we visit the iow and never disappointed it, just gets better every time! eating plentiful (also had to leave some!
Found this pub randomly on the way back from the Needles. Well priced and nice home cooking style food. Great sized play area for the kids, and backs onto a canal with ducks and swans. Why not 5 stars? Not enough pudding options for adults .
After a walk around the opposite of newport with 3 hours
