Overall, pleased with the late dinner. Nick was friendly, kind, and very courteous. The food runners didn’t really know which table food was supposed to go to — a concern given I told them about a food allergy. I ordered the shrimp app gluten free, which ultimately meant no bread substitute. ? Still, it was really delicious, flavorful, with just the right kick! What Christopher Farrell doesn't like about Oystercatcher Restaurant Bar:
Let's start with the good. Nicks Service was friendly. The atmosphere is pretty. Thats it for the good. The food was absolutely terrible. They claim sharable plates...theyre not. They have the audacity to charge $21 for a drink and then an extra $2 for it being on the rocks. The tomahawk came out well done and bland, we sent back the grouper amd the pasta. Save your money and tastebuds and go literally anywhere else. View all feedback.

Cocktail was strong and enjoyable.Dietary restrictions: Chef was knowledgeable about gluten free cooking, sending the server to check if I was celiac. Chef prepared the food safely. Thanks!

This restaurant should be your last choice when eating in Wild Dunes. Overpriced for mediocre food that does not match their menu description. We ordered some appetizers and dinner for a party of 5. We ordered the Pasta with sauage and brocollini. We got crumbles of sausage and frozen broccoli with very little sauce of any type. The fish was edible but mothjng to write home about. We ordered a few of the appetizers, crudo- too sweet and a bit fishy; octopus hushpuppies, which could have been regular hushpuppies as there was no flavor of octopus, Just a disappointing meal all around.
This is a 2 star experience at best. The service is was slow and our server was a bit spacey. She forgot items constantly and we had to ask for things several times. The food was ok but not out of this world for the price we paid. You're better off going into Charleston to eat.
Whole branzino was good, properly stuffed and cooked with nice sides. We didn't like the fried oysters. Bibb salad only looked good!
