I was hoping for some impressive fine dining. Didn’t get it. The conch chowder spiced with almost too much heat. The Pontchartrain hogfish pieces were extremely thin and because of this it was all seasoning. I even asked for the sauce on the side as not to overpower what is usually an outstanding fish. We had the whole fried hogfish and it was out of this world!!!! Best I have had!
Just a special spot in Islamorada for dinner. The fish offerings all hit the button on high end quality. The Wahoo and Hogfish were perfect!
