this place has a really good bbq. well, I know that the meat prices increase exponentially and it is also understandable that the menu prices must rise, but what about the portions!? I have always ordered the three meat plate and I always get a reasonable amount of meat after the price, but this last time that I was there it really saw how I got a child meal instead, and on top there were a few frowny faces coming fr... What User doesn't like about Spring Creek Barbeque:
I ordered baby back ribs. they were little on the dry side, as if they were sitting a bed in a warming tablet. I asked for a side of pickel and wobbles, and received pickel and a few pfeffer. and the pickles were very muddy, in the paprika they were dry. I had better of jumpcreek that was not one of the better efforts! View all feedback.
Spring Creek seems to have received good ratings from most people. We gave it a likes rating, but the BBQ was just OK. Brisket was dry, needed sauce to get down. Sausage was OK, more like Hillshire Farms kilbasa. Ribs were good, liked the sweetness in the rub. We liked the concept of all you eat sides, for those that can't decide what to get, you can go back for something else if the beans or cob corn didn't fill you up. Service was good and friendly.
Great meat case to select your meats from. I chose brisket mix sausage. You can choose between lean, marbled or mix for brisket. There is regular or black pepper sausage. Sides were also tasty. Green beans reminded me of my grandmother's. They continued to bring bread to the table. Excellent place for a quick lunch.
This place is great! The staff is very polite and you are greeted with 'Welcome to Spring Creek ' every time you walk in. The meats are hot and smokey the sides have always been fresh. Never had a bad experience here. Prices have risen since the pandemic but that 's to be expected. Overall I enjoy eating BBQ here and I go here whenever I 'm in the mood for BBQ.
The prices and the food are both good, but it's not quite what I've come to expect from Texas brisket. The rolls are absolutely delicious however, and they'll bring you as many as you want for free!
Got the brisket bbq dinner, comes with two sides. I chose to sub it out with a baked potato “all the way.” Also got the brisket and sausage combo plate with sides of macaroni and cole slaw. The sides were okay in flavor. Meats were really tender and delicious! Bread rolls are nice and warm and more come around in a basket. To top off the meal, we got a peach cobbler flavored ice cream(not pictured). Was a little disappointed that we only got a small scoop of it for $7. Overall, would come back again!
