I've lived about an hour away from here most of my life and drive by a hundred times when leaving town. The humble outside and prominence of the Motel part made me give it but a head turn. On a recent motorcycle trip with a...buddy we were due for lunch and nothing else was open so we tried it... White tablecloths, haute cuisine, but local food prices!!! Don't let that drive you away if you have kids! The two owners... View all feedback.
What Adela Nienow doesn't like about Red Top Motor Inn:
I am from this area of the land and look forward to a Whitefish dinner. we ordered and it was very slow and then the came overcooked and kartoffeln bland so disappointed for the price we paid. View all feedback.
We were extremely disappointed with our experience at this hotel. The room was very outdated, especially the bathroom. There was also a bad odor present. The staff member who checked us in was very rude and seemed to have an attitude towards us for no reason. To add to our frustration, the restaurant on-site was closed and there were no other dining options in the area. We had to venture to Blind River for a meal.
Located a bit off the beaten path, but I ordered the burgers here and they were absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend trying them.

This is my second time staying at this restaurant and the room price is very reasonable. The room is clean and has a nostalgic feel of 1961. They provide wifi and a coffee machine, but unfortunately no refrigerator. The restaurant is a great spot for dinner and breakfast. The desserts are homemade and the menu changes often, ensuring a unique dining experience. The food is excellent and the service is top-notch. Each dish is well-balanced, with just the right amount of flair to make it stand out. Definitely worth a visit without any artificial syrups or heavy-handed portions.

Don't let that drive you away if you have kids! The two owners there have had it for 20 years, the chef is dressed as a chef (nice change over the t-shirt cook), and I will now plan my travel around landing here to eat for lunch or dinner. A MUST STOP PLACE TO EAT.
