Paralia - Irakleion

This was out first culinary experience in Crete and after 9 days of travelling in different cities remained the best experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive, food delicious and view amazing, especially during sunset. We also received free ice cream, melon, raki and a cinnamon (something : just later we realised that this is the custom in Crete. And all of these at reasonsable price, even lower that other places we visited later. Maybe because it was our first try, with a lot of pleasant surprises, but it remained in our heart. We were comparing the other restaurants from Heraklion/Rethymno/Chania, but hardly some of them gave us similar feelings.

It was our first restaurant in Heraklion and I gotta say that we liked almost everything. Maybe the waiter should have told us that the quantity was too much since we had 2 starters and 2 mains and we could not even finish 3 i think. Food was quality and the place was beautiful by the seaside. The only thing to be improved was that the black pasta was totally tasteless. Expected more. Probably the place where you order seafood

We had dinner here, so many tables were free at the time. young friendly staff. great place with sea view. faster service. reasonable prices. we had a seafood and it was delicious. the portions are large. also the restaurant gave us a sweet gift two times! we were surprised and it was right in time. we spent a great time here. in any case would recommend!

The grilled sardines are from this world. Amazing service and some great weine. but they have to repeat, order the grilled sardines! they are blown away.

This is an excellent seafood fish restaurant, right on the port line of Heraklion. The prices are not cheap, but they treat you well with good dishes and drinks.
