Excellent as always. Love the atmosphere and just about everything regarding this restaurant. The main problem is the entres are so tasty it's almost impossible to eat responsibly. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Molly Woo's Asian Bistro:
Second time I've brought out of town guests, and their food was terrible. My sister's broccoli was almost raw, my nephew's noodles tasted horrible and like chemicals, my niece's lo mein was cold and had an off taste as well, like cooked on a dirty cook top. I got the Molly's Feast and it seems to be consistent, but the eggplant was very tough. Also, it only came with 5 pieces of tofu. View all feedback.
Bar experience for happy hour was excellent. Gary was excellent. We went to the dining room for dinner after and our service was mediocre. Waited longer for our food than our whole bar experience.
The food was great, and delivered to our table quickly. The restaurant was clean and quiet. However our server was less than stellar. He spoke very quietly making it hard to hear him. He did not come check on us often. We ate half of our meal with no drinks. No soda refills or water refills. Even though our empty glasses were sitting at the edge of the table when he delivered the food. I watched other waitstaff and they appeared attentive to their customers, ours did not including to the other table he was “serving”. The hostess that sat us didn't smile, didn't acknowledge us, just walked us to the table, handed us the menus and walked away. Not a word said. She also walked quickly I had trouble keeping up with her. I think some training in customer service would be beneficial to some of the staff. Not the greatest customer service. Thank god the food made up for it.
Shawn was our terrific server. He was excellent and very helpful and friendly. The four entrees were great and the appetizers were amazing. One in our party had never been to Molly Woos and she wants to definitely return. Excellent food and service!
The food lacked seasoning... really pretty to look at though.
My mom and I stopped in with my girls for lunch during back to school shopping. We had a great experience. The service was a little slow at the start but it picked up once we placed our main course order. Our food was hot and delicious. We shared edamame, spring and egg rolls. We each ordered a main dish and they were very accommodating something I wanted to a vegetarian version. We had chicken fried rice, chicken lo mein, and hunan crispy tofu. Our lunch break was much needed and worth it. The atmosphere was neat and paid homage to the Asian culture. Vegetarian options: They will make any entree vegetarian.
