I'll start by saying I didn't have any of their food or treats, but the place smelled AMAZING while I sat there with my laptop for a few hours. I got a dirty chai with almond milk and was not disappointed. The servers were nice, I found a great spot by the window near an outlet, and I was set. During the afternoon, the place has incredible lighting pouring in through the windows and warming it up. I think it will be... View all feedback.
First time brunch experience with Tasi. I continue my search for the perfect brunch spot in downtown Columbus. Although this little spot has been here for years, I just heard about it a couple of weeks ago. This little spot has limited seating on a first come first serve situation. They do have a patio seating in front of the restaurant. I bet it is popular during the warmer weather. I was one of the first people to dine for the day but it got much more busy as I ate. They are known for this breakfast options but they do have some nice options for lunch and dinner. My Choice: I went with the following for my visit. Breakfast Burrito with potatoes Side of Sweet and Spicy Bacon (not very spicy...unfortunately) Bloody Mary Coffee My bill total was $38.00! I thought the food was good. I would definitely come back. Nothing Wow 'd me. Having said that, there are a number of items I 'd like to try next time, like the French Toast and the breakfast sandwich. Overall the experience was good. Service was a little slow considering it wasn 't busy. My coffee arrive to the table soon enough but it took awhile to get cream and sugar brought to the table. I hated seeing my hot coffee going cold while I waited. I 'd recommend giving this a try. I 'm sure it will hit this spot!
Not sure why I hadn't heard of Tasi until a few weeks ago, especially when it's been around for 15 years now! One of my friends who came with said she used to go all the time during Ohio State. I became even more mindblown. But anyway, I'm an immediate fan of any place that has breakfast all day because I LOVE breakfast foods but typically don't eat until noon. To me, Tasi is like Katalina's and Northstar had a baby. Homey/local feel of Katalina's but a menu that is a bit more breakfast traditional. Except for the caramel roll which I excitedly ordered, but the last one had just gotten snatched up. Sad. (I saw there was one left when I ordered it and our server was slow to go get it my only critique of the whole experience . I did end up getting a lavender blueberry muffin instead which was perfection, crusted on the outside and very soft on inside. Best eggs benny I've had. Instead of an English muffin as the base, it has a buttery flaky biscuit. The jalapeño butter that comes on it isn't spicy but is delicious. Much better than traditional hollandaise imo. The cuban is addictive. My husband ordered it and my one bite try turned into 4 or 5. Three different meats (including bacon! and delicious pickled vegetables. Comes with oily and decadent saratoga chips. Heuvos rancheros is one of the most popular items on the menu and after trying a bite... I get why. It is different from what you might think, with a focus on the tomato and egg, and the bean and cheese tortilla is on the side. So savory and delish. Was having the hardest time picking just one item on the breakfast menu (and there are so many other options for lunch too...salads, burgers, tacos that I have to come back and try more. They have booze too. Didn't get any this time but prosecco is calling me for next time.
Went here for breakfast because just off N. High Street where our hotel was located. . Large outdoor dining area which was shaded for breakfast and a pretty large indoor area as well. Lots and lots of choices for breakfast, including some creative ones. At our table of four we had the Huevos Rancheros, Breakfast Burrito, Challah French Toast and Greek Omelette. All four were very very good, but the standouts were the Huevos Rancheros and the Challah French Toast. The rancheros were covered with more crushed tomatoes and onion salsa than I am used to, but it was very flavorful and it made excellent additional topping and dipping for the Black Bean and Queso Fresco Tortilla. The eggs were prepared as ordered, over medium. So this dish was a great hit and is highly recommended. The French Toast was very large and prepared perfectly for the combination of crunch and softness that good French Toast has. Served with just the right amount of maple syrup and the Caramelized Bananas were a great addition. The breakfast burrito was nicely filled but nothing special and the Greek omelette was at least 3 eggs and loaded with vegetables and feta. The sausage on the side was pretty ordinary. The coffee and tea served were also outstanding. One of the best coffees any of us had ever had, and the tea was creatively served. Service was friendly and knowledgeable and all food care at a timely manner. All in all, for breakfast, this restaurant is a winner.

Parking in the area is sort of a nightmare, but if you're walking in the Short North and looking for a coffee shop, don't overlook Tasi just because it isn't on High St.
I have lived in the short north area for the past 6 years and this was my first time checking out Tasi! I was really impressed with the space and was shocked that I've never seen it before! They have an impressive menu with lots of options, and everyone at my table really enjoyed their food! We got the Turkey club with fries, chicken panini, and breakfast burrito. Both sandwiches were really good, the bread was fresh and delicious and each sandwich had great toppings/flavor. The breakfast burrito was also really good. I have had breakfast burritos at other places with more toppings/salsa and this one was just meat, egg, and cheese. I appreciated that the burrito wasn't super tortilla-heavy, some places I feel like majority of the burrito is tortilla and didn't feel that with this one. I would order both items again but with how many delicious items they have on the menu I would probably try something different next time.
