Eight On The River - Inverness

What put us off most was the terrible music, it was loud and unnecessary. Food was uninspired and average quality. Service was very pleasant and was really the only positive thing about the experience

Very disappointing I was retching at the strong smell of the anchovies in my Caesar salad . The signature burger the rolls were falling apart as if they had been frozen for a while and compared to the restaurant my husband and I were in a fortnight ago the burgers were of a value range quality. I had been to a party night in the hotel where the food was really good but not now

Delicious food high end food. Must book. Hotel is frequented by coach parties so tables not always available. I should reiterate the food is really good, don’t be fooled by the coach parties. We had a table overlooking the river with a great view

Food was absolutely delicious, great value for money and the staff were above and beyond making sure we had everything. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely be back.
