Food is as you would expect for a small bakery - fresh and delicious. Service is great, however being such a small business and servicing a constant stream of customers who a travelling through, service time is slow. I can confirm that it is well worth the wait, but this is not a quick stop. This is a bakery well utilised when you need to take a driver reviver. What User doesn't like about Inverleigh Bakehouse:
Stopped for lunch and coffee. Staff seem very disorganised. Couldn't hear orders due to loud music. Appeared to bored with the whole process. Dining area freezing. There was a split system in the area but it was not turned in! Toasted pumpkin Ciabatta hot. Coffee weak & tepid. I asked for extra hot! Very disappointed with the whole experience. I can confirm that it is well worth the wait, but this is not a quick stop. This is a bakery well utilised when you need to take a driver reviver. If you're adhering to a tight schedule, this is not the place to grab a quick coffee. I still recommend Inverleigh Bakehouse if you have the time to wait, you won't be disappointed. They are very mindful of dietary requests which is both surprising and fantastic for a small bakery.

I have tried this place several times and am now going to give up. I always wait a long time to be served and I find the girls who work there not particularly friendly or helpful. The icing on the cake last week was going in there and commenting that the cakes in the display had a lot of flies on them - and there were quite a lot. The very sharp reply was there was nothing they could do about it. Turned on my heel and left - never to return.
I have dropped in to this café/bakehouse quite a few times now and I am never disappointed with the service, food or good coffee. It has improved since first opening and is a very well run and managed business. The addition of the garden seating out the back is great and so good for kids. .There is a fine selection, and any of the food is good and presented well, the pies are great, the milkshakes are excellent too. The bread is freshly baked on the premises and again a good selection, but get in early. The bakehouse is a really good stop on the Hamilton Highway.
