What User doesn't like about Koji Japanese:
We came here initially to get takeaways and the staff member was very intense about vaccine passes (most restaurants don't require them just for takeaways). She wasn't even going to give me the opportunity to look at a menu before she had sited it. Excellent food and excellent service. Very fresh sashimi. We had a group of 15 of us. Staff handled the large group very well. We liked it so much, we also had takeaway from there the next night. Would certainly recommend.

My husband ended up finding a parking spot nearby so we decided to dine in. The lunch menu is reasonably priced, tasty and filling. The service was quick too. Probably wouldn't come here again due to the attitude of the main staff member but it might be a different experience with someone else.
I have eaten Japanese in some countries, including japan. koji is probably in the top ten of Japanese restaurants in New Zealand. restaurant was super busy, but eating came quite fast. the personal was really professional. eating was amazing.
Excellent service: attentive staff and faster service. eating was the best in invercargill, beautifully presented with good portion size and quality. will be back invercargill.
Nice pleasant atmosphere. Delicious food. Dining upstairs is definitely a lot more comfortable in winter, instead of sitting near the front door. Around $65 for mains, saki, and beers you can't go wrong.
