Chardonnay Deli - iNingizimu Afrika

Yesterday (Mother's Day) was a stunning autumn day in Cape Town. We decided to stop by Chardonnay Deli for coffee, but ended up indulging in the tempting array of delectable cakes. The apple pie was generously filled and delicious, while the passion fruit cheesecake was one of the best I've ever had. Despite being busy, the service was exceptional. We definitely plan on visiting this charming spot again in the future.

I absolutely adore Chardonnay Deli for its atmosphere and vibes. Being a vegan, I can't get enough of their vegan nut cake. My go-to drink is always a decaf flat white with either soya or almond milk. While I haven't had the chance to try their extensive menu listed on a blackboard, Grant, the friendly and accommodating front of house Manager, always makes my experience enjoyable. I love his stylish dress code, particularly his bowtie! The deli offers a variety of options for dining in or taking away.

The front of the deli doesn't give away the hidden gem of a garden in the back. It was a delightful surprise for our Sunday outing! The food was delicious, the service was warm and attentive. We will definitely be coming back again.

Lovely venue, friendly staff, fresh ingredients, delicious and generously portioned meals. Priced just right.  Their coffee is also excellent. I'd also recommend trying their confectionery very tasty cheese cake. This is one of my favourite restaurants in Cape Town. They knock the socks off other establishments which tend to downgrade the quality of their ingredients and shrink their portions over time. Chardonnay Deli consistently impress me, at each and every visit. Can't wait to visit their soon to be launched Dalebrook Café in Kalk Bay.

We came by for takeaway cake and found the staff rocking out to some cool music. Look like they really enjoy working at the deli. I really enjoyed the yoghurt cake, but the cheesecake was a bit sweet and less tangy than we expected. I'd go back to try the other interesting sounding cakes.
