very good eating at a special place. reasonable prices. almost authentic food, lots of fresh vegetables. came back two weeks later, still very good. to recommend! chairs in free could be better... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about El Chico:
we start with a yellowish guacamole ... I had to dig to find the few micro pieces avocados ... it seemed and tasted like a cheaper dip on mayonnaise basis. the rest was so far away from the Mexican taste. pretty disappointing. I would not return or recommend it to everyone. View all feedback.
So we start with the waitress who seemed very stressed and was not even able to listen to our questions! as an appetizer we had nachos with guacamole, who looked and tasted like a chemical product with all ingredients except avocado. as a main dish we had enchiladas, which were served us in look and taste like an already made frozen product, along with some raw wobble and cold cheese strips. the tortillas were hard as stone and not larger than 1 cm. I didn't even know you couldn't call that enchiladas!

Eating was very good, my beer of course the same, but the environment and the personal would I say strangely! the location is beautiful and there is a beautiful route. I will go to dinner again and see if at this particular time the mood at this place was strange.

To get to the point: a waitress for the entire restaurant. The service was slow and unstoppable. You could sell a lot more drinks when the waitress EVER came back between the order and the delivery of the food. I know that overwork is not her fault (as if the service is better), but I don't value the waitress. The restaurant needs more waiters. All dishes were delivered hot and the quality of the presentation was sufficient. It was a shock to find broccoli and sugar snap peas in my Queensadilla, but it tasted good. If you are currently not hungry or thirsty and are not a rush to eat, El Chico is a good choice. Otherwise, look for a place better occupied.
