The Grille - Ingleside

Great food and super fast service 1245p on Thursday. Chicken fried steak, potatoes and corn. Special salad and cake warm from the oven.

We were in Ingleside because we needed a cheap hotel for our vacation in the last minute on the coast. We didn't want to eat the continental breakfast last day, so we went here. This is a pretty little place with WONDERFUL breakfast. One of my boys had blueberry pancakes, and the other had chocolate chip, both short stacks of 2. They were huge pancakes, so they only ate about half. They also enjoyed the eggs, bacon and ham. My husband had the French Toast Special and said it was phenomenal. The eggs were slightly overlooked, but my children were fine, and so was my omelet. I had the western omelet and it was the best omelet I ever had. I'm gluten intolerant, so I ate a lot of omelette when we go to breakfast. The hash browns were also great.

Service was great. Sam was our waiter, she was very kind. It took a while to get our food, but it was good. I would give 5 stars, but our table was a little evil when we set ourselves. I had to clean it with a bait cloth. Besides the creepy table, it was great. We will return.

Breakfast was really good. There Chicken Fried Steak was the best I ever had. We're from California, so this was all superior to what we get. Prices are all reasonable. Great friendly service.

Good lunch spot in Ingleside. The burgers are are good. I had the bacon avocado burger and it was tasty. I prefer my burgers a little less done, that's why I only gave a 4 star.
