Settlers Tavern - Ingle Farm

We've been coming here for a few years since the staff is really nice and friendly. The food is delicious and delicious as the chicken carving was delicious and mouth water, as the crumb was crispy and tasty also as the salad was beautiful. The Diane engraving was delicious, as I could immerse more wedges in this engraving and ate them every day.

We came here for my child's 3rd birthday dinner and it was excellent. The indoor playground was a hit, and all children's meals came with a cupcake, icing and wrinkles for the children to decorate them. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Emma.

Went with a social group and had a very pleasant meal. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly and she is a good worker. We could have been closer to the kitchen to go too much. Senior meal was just right size. View was reasonable, but cold windy day that spoiled it. Access to the dining area no problems, lots of parking and close to public transport definitely back

Menus a bit simple, and they have to replace the salad bar. Never had a bad meal tho, steak was perfectly cooked and the southern chicken is the best I had. Fun deserts for the children, last time was build your own cupcake she loved it, and the playground and coloring in station keeps them busy while we wait for dinner. The staff is professional and friendly.

The wait staff are lovely, but I booked ahead of time and wasn't give a table with adequate number of seats for the booking, they left off the kids! What I wanted to order wasn't available, and half the meals took forever to come out, even after checking in with the staff directly naming the dishes we were waiting for, the kitchen were preparing the wrong meals. Some of the people's meals who were taking a long time were the children at our table who should have received their meals first (disappointing as they have a playground so you think they understand what kids are like when they don't get fed). Some of the meals were nice, the onion rings, beef and chicken burgers, and mixed grill were a highlight, ribs and schnitzel not so much. Edible though and decent sizes. Prices are pretty reasonable and the Decorate Your Own Cupcakes is a nice touch for the kids. I tried to pick somewhere all my family could kick back, have a nice meal together that was affordable, that's what a restaurant should be able to deliver and the Settlers was not able to. Saw lots of other people waiting ages too and i'm sure they were just as disappointed, the dining room was only at about half capacity mostly celebrations so people they would have known were coming. If you can't get food out on time and as a table then a kitchen isn't the place for you.
