Joella's Hot Chicken Broad Ripple

I was very disappointed with our food. We had been wanting to try Joella 's for over a year and it just was not that good. I had ordered three different dinners for my family and the chicken strips were just okay the side dish for both dinners was mac cheese which was not very good more like pasty mac cheese. My dinner was the bone in dark meat Leg Thigh with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. My chicken was very old and somewhat on the greasy side. The best dish of the whole order was the Mashed Potatoes they were fabulous. I 'm just sorry that I sunk over $80 for 3 meals that was really bad. I don 't know if I 'd feel different if our food was fresh IDK? The cole slaw is tastless. The desserts are just okay.

Wonderful service, employees bring great hospitality and kind attitudes. Chicken and fish are very good as well as the mac n cheese and drinks we tried. Price point is very good for the speed and quality. Will be coming back!

Delicious, quality food and good service!This location doesn't feel crowded and there's plenty of parking. It's been awhile since I've had Joella's and it really hit the spot. But I think my palate has advanced and I could go up a heat level next time.Pro tip: go with someone so one of you can get fries and one get macaroni, so you can try both. I couldn't pick between which is better! The honey mustard sauce is perfect, also. The tenders are big, but not too messy.

This is my favorite Joella’s location. The river view patio is nice. Crispy but juicy chicken at whatever spice level you prefer. Collard greens are delicious.Food: 5/5

Fantastic food, we were greeted by a very nice employee who explained the menu throughly for our first time being there.She helped us get us exactly what we wanted and went for the middle of the board spice level. We got the lunch special with two tenders, fries and drink for 12.99.Tasted great, especially my wife’s parmesan fries. My only qualm if anything is at the end of my meal I felt as though I had consumed a lot of salt.Gonna keep this place in the back of my mind!
