This location has become the comparative to any other Pho I order in my travels. It starts with a broth that has great depth of flavor and then plenty of noodles and meat. This version also is served with nice size chucks of green onion. The spring rolls are very good. I don't usually find a large variation in these. View all feedback.
What Plucky D doesn't like about Egg Roll #1 Pho #1:
Based on the number of favorable reviews, I guess this planetary. Got there at about 4:30 on a Saturday, thinking I would beat the crowd. Several people were already in line, adding to my belief I was in for some great food. So I was quite let down by my choices. The egg roll was barely warm not at all fresh. The hot sour soup was ok, but nothing like more flavorful versions I've had elsewhere. I ordered what was sup... View all feedback.
I am vietnamese and this is as close as you can get to authentic! Hell this place was the only reason that I could tolerate being in Indianapolis this summer for work! Come here for the viet food, the chinese food is eh your average takeout vibe. The bun bo hue is the best that I have had coming from a person who have been to Chicago, Houston, and Orange County which has a decent viet population.
One of my favorite restaurants in town. Amazing food with such affordable price. Always busy (which makes perfect sense) and the everyone who works there is very friendly.
If you want genuinely authentic and delicious chinese food you've found it. My absolute favorite chinese spot. I've tried numerous other chinese/vietnamese places and they can't even TOUCH what this place offers. They don't use yellow rice like some places, which I despise. I've had general tso's chicken from some places and the sauce tasted like something that comes out of a bottle. This place offers homemade, fresh, delicious food that NEVER misses.
Good selection of different meals. Extremely well priced. Fast service clean atmosphere with plenty of tables. Most of our dishes were great. The sweet and sour pork was a total miss. Very large bites with tons of fat. Next time I would get sweet and sour chicken instead. General Tso's sauce was a bit watery and could have been more spicy. Other than that the lo mein, egg rolls and fried rice were all fantastic.
Order at the counter and hope you get a table! This place is very quick and super tasty. There is usually a line out of the door right when they open. Anything you order here is delicious.
