While some enjoyed the atmosphere and attentive staff, others were disappointed by the slow service and lackluster food. One diner even found a piece of dirt in their water glass, leading to a less than pleasant interaction with the wait staff. However, there were positive experiences as well, with some highlighting the delicious food, excellent service, and enjoyable ambiance. From the upscale downtown vibe to the classic cocktails and updated dishes, this restaurant seems to be hit or miss depending on personal tastes and experiences. Overall, while some found it to be a must-visit spot in the area, others felt that there are better options for the price elsewhere.
Mother’s Day was great. The food was excellent. My only complaint is that it seemed a bit expensive for such limited options. An omelette bar or mimosa bar would have been nice and more reflective of that price point
Great experience overall. Food was fantastic and the complimentary sangria was the best I've ever had. Definitely recommend. Nice little touches.

The wait staff was a blast. Very enjoyable. Engaged. Laughed with us and very attentive. The food was prepared great! One of my guests said the steak he ate is in his top two. The only downside was private party bouncer in the suit near the downstairs bathroom. A bit over the top. He needed to chill.
CharBlue has become my favorite downtown Indy restaurant. They create the feeling that every table is occupied by their most special customers. The food is wonderfully tasty and satisfying. The service is so very attentive, the ambiance is relaxing, and customer preferences are given detailed attention.
