great little discovery. on the look for a lunch on the way to the top of the Cape Breton and drawn for a bit very friendly and a tidy leather business right next door View all feedback.
The pizza was simply excellent. Great crust, fresh toppings, excellent pepperoni, generous cheese. We weren't sure what size to order, so we went with two mediums for three people, and got three meals out of them. Not too pricey, good value.
If you are craving pizza while driving the Cabot Trail this is the place to go!!! The garlic fingers are the best garlic fingers my girlfriend and I have ever had. The service is great, very friendly ladies. Great price and great food!!!
Not much else around to eat in Indian Brook. This is a basic restaurant but the pizza is good and price reasonable.
We camp near by and always make a few visits over the summer and stop in when we happen to go through the area , I have to say this is the best pizza I. Have ever had , the best .staff are the owners super friendly , even keep dog treats on hand as well as treats for kids they love to give . A must stop on the trail
I was there on a Thursday, a bit early. Lucky me - it was cabbage roll day! Apparently, this Thursday special frequently sells out even before the restaurant opens (by phone, that is). I got two giant, tasty cabbage rolls with garlic bread, practically free (I think it was $9). I ended up taking one home to my cabin to finish for a late supper. Janet makes them herself.I didn't have pizza this trip, but I did watch Janet and her family making them. VERY generous application of toppings, and glorious smells. Next time! They actually took a phone order for a pizza with different toppings on THREE sections. Few pizzerias will even do half, any more. There's a big fridge full off assorted cold beverages, but I enjoyed the choice of coffees and tea in the Keurig machine. While I was there, I used the free wi-fi. And there's an air conditioner (THANK YOU! It was so hot this September...) and a TV, not too loud, if you're waiting. Plus, there are puzzles on the tables (don't worry; if you can't complete them, owner Janet can - she finished mine). One little thing made my day; they sell chocolate bars. No desserts, really, but I was craving a little chocolate, and there wasn't any in the area. I spotted them when I lined up to place my order...I just noticed how many exclamation marks I used. Really, they deserve them all!
