Contribute Feedback What David Bass likes about Church's Texas Chicken:
The prices are reasonable, the food is delicious, and the service is friendly. I'm puzzled as to why the indoor seating is still closed, especially with COVID cases significantly decreasing and mask mandates being lifted. However, I rarely see the same staff members twice. View all feedback.
What Helmer Schamberger doesn't like about Church's Texas Chicken:
We ordered a family meal with a large fry and some dessert biscuits. We received our chicken, mac and cheese, fries, and dessert biscuits, but I won’t be here for long! Overall, I would rate the food: 1/5. View all feedback.
They still don't allow dine in and there is no sign in the door. The sign is in the far side of the front window. I watched many people get out of their cars to try to go in only to realize they would have to enter the drive through which had grown by 3-5 cars by the time they got back to their cars to get in line. I did this myself. The food quality has gone way down hill in the last couple years and it will probably be another 8 months before I try it again. It's the only chicken place around for miles and it's very disappointing.
Gross food. Service is sad.Food is sad. Business is sad. Needs a major redo. Especially the food and training on how to make it. I have more trust for the 15 year olds at McDonald's to make my food and half of them can't properly turn on an oven.
The only churches I'm going to. the sweet dame working on the drive thru is the main reason I'm going here. She's always so kind. I love seeing her there when I go?
I've never seen anything like this in a restaurant in my life! the customer service is awesome. I went in and everyone ignored me as if I hadn't been there. there were about 6 people who worked and who called to theke that someone else took my order. they all looked at me and went through the checkout/counter. no one would take the order! finally a man covered with flour, who wore a apron, came from behind (he was super sweet, but had another strange mood as if I shouldn't be there? I felt so out of place to the point where I checked the door to see if there were signs that it was closed for people and that the door was simply accidentally left open and looked at the hours! I can say that was the most strange experience I've ever had! Someone else went in when I left, so was it open?!
This is the fifth time I've been to this particular churches only to have them shortchange me multiple items, typically the jalapeno poppers! And other random items, I ask for white gravy and they give me brown gravy. I don't know why this particular Church's has such a difficult time getting orders right! It is ridiculous for sure! If you go to this churches make sure you check your bag before you leave!
