had recently had a nice lunch. we shared the tempoura mushrooms to begin. very easy to break. I had steak sandwich and my partner had lobster sandwich. both enjoyed our head. it is a beautiful pub with a beautiful quiet atmosphere View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Fox Ilkley:
Unfortunately, our food order 'has not gone through the system', and it came only to the light when we asked where our drinks were. almost 1 hour and 40 minutes from the arrival to the main course. When it went through the system, we could see that our drinks sit at the end of the bar for so long and I almost went to get them. might not have enough personal to provide efficient service? rather than the evening. Eat very nice, but went for a traditional Sunday roast, but they had run out, so had to have something different.
If the food is no good then nothing else really matters.
Excellent standard of food in an authentic pub athmosphere. Attentive yet not overbearing staff, superb food and service, a real hidden gem.
I recently enjoyed a lovely lunch at this restaurant. We started with the tempura mushrooms, which were very easy to share. I ordered the steak sandwich, while my partner chose the lobster sandwich, and we both loved our meals. The pub has a beautiful and serene atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing dining experience.
It was my birthday, and while we usually eat in a specific order, the cake we had was overcooked and quite tough.
