This place is fantastic for burritos! I enjoyed every one I tried. They also offer breakfast burritos, which is a great bonus. The portions are generous, and the fries are surprisingly delicious! Every employee has been wonderful, and the wait times are quite reasonable. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sweeto Burrito:
I can see why there have been so many negative reviews lately. The burrito, which was meat-heavy, was decent—neither great nor fantastic, but not terrible either. It was smaller than expected, and when comparing it to Metro, which offers a better value for its six-inch portions, I have to say that paying $15 for a burrito that's less than six inches and just okay doesn’t sit right with me. Hard to be impressed, I walked into a clean dinning room expecting this cleanliness standard to transfer to good food keeping and making habits and was sold a burrito and tots. The burrito and meat within was cold, And tots where cold as well. Nothing I received tasted like it was just made. After I tried to finish my meal I tossed it and decided to peer over the counter. I noticed uncovered meat and the same batch of tater tots as when I came in. Conveniently stored near the soda fountain. The kid who took my order though had a good can do attitude. Didn't notice a name tag.
The price increases are understandable, so are the longer wait times than expected due to staff shortages. The sides are still great and the staff always seem friendly and professional All that being said, the last few times I've gone these burritos have had an unreasonably high amount of salt in them, to the point where they're hard to eat. I don't remember it being like this a few years back.
We used to love going to their food truck, but this was the second time we've been to their brick-and-mortar store on 17th and weren't as impressed. There was no one there and only one employee and yet it still took 15+ minutes to get our order through the drive-through. They were also out of bacon, which is in like half of their menu items. And apparently they don't do breakfast after a certain time which seems ridiculous because the employee said we could add an egg to whatever other burrito we wanted. And they're so expensive! Sadly, we probably won't go back.
Seriously!! 27 minutes in line in the drive thru for only 2 burritos nothing changed or special. I was the only car in line for 19 min. The food is alright it use to be much much fresher and well assembled. It's hard to imagine but the 27 min here is still quicker than sweet burritos neighbors.
I want to say that my low rating has nothing to do with the employees or service given. They were very kind and professional and place was clean. Both me and my wife went here for our first time and had high hopes. But unfortunately our food was awful. Both of our burritos (which we ordered different choices of burritos) were overwhelmed with onion. So strong you couldn't taste anything else. I doubt this is how they were supposed to be made and suspect that perhaps someone was being trained and they were prepared wrong. We could not finish them and it was difficult to get taste out of our mouths even with mints in the car. I am in no way an onion hater, these clearly had been prepared wrong in my opinion. If I return and it is different, I will certainly change my review at that time.
