Trevligt ställe med trevlig och välkomnande personal. Välskött och rent. Snabb service. Bra priser. Gott kaffe. Supergott! What User doesn't like about Shanghai Restaurant:
Brought most of the food out then made us wait so long for the other meal I had to go and ask where it had got too. When it did arrive the rest of the food has gone Cold. They made no apologies for the wait and never asked if everything was okay. Avoid plenty of nice places to eat near by. View all feedback.
Delicious food, beautiful location, both inside/outside terrace. Good price list for an extensive menu offer. Friendly staff, a place to revise when hunger. Our choice: Spring rolls, Sweeer orange chicken, spicy beef, Shanghai chicken and various rice recipes as shrimp
When we got in, we didn't expect much. A menu consisting of over 150 dishes usually scares us. We weren't surprised! The roasted duck was well prepared and the various seafood we ordered came perfectly. Our children are somewhat picky... Asian foods and are very touchless about cooked or seasoned foods and they commented: the best food we had during our trip.
Made a reservation by coming to the restaurant and choosing a table myself, and when we came the table was taken and the personal did not solve the problem and even more, they were laughing. Very insulting!!
This is by far the best chinese restaurant in Iasi, and it’s actually become one of our favorite places to go for lunch during Sundays. The place looks nice, and during weekends you might need a reservation because it is usually pretty crowded. It also...takes like 30-40 minutes for your order to be done, but considering the taste of the dishes, time is no issue. You should definitely try the pineapple chicken and the hot plates.
So, the restaurant looks nice, the staff is nice and that's about it. The corn soup had an egg shell in it. The oyster beef was hard to chew and the lemon chicken was some kind of crispy strips with a yellow jelly that i...think it was supposed to taste like lemon, but it didn't. The fried icecream should be called the overcooked dough melted cream, which you might think that you can eat it with only a little spoon but you actually need a fork and knife made out of adamantium. The prices are high to be frankly and they don't even put some soy, vinegar or chilly on the table, which i think it's a must since the food is almost tasteless. Don't get me wrong, the plates look beautiful, master chef beautiful really, but from the first bite, or hard bite if you ordered beef, you have that feeling that something is not quite like it's supposed to be. Ah yeah, and even though the restaurant tries to sell you this idea that you are in a luxury place, but after all have been said and done, your clothes will still smell like you've cooked the food all by yourself in their kitchen.
