Yesterday evening I visited tee, had cajun chicken kewers and salt and pepper sprens starter, then a south-fried chickenburger, cheeseburger and wobble rings boiled to perfection. good break between the curses. very fresh and directly from the kitchen to the table. it was a quiet Tuesday evening, although the staff welcomed us and offered a very efficient service, which I feared that they might have been a bit more f... My friend and I both had a child's portion of fish chips and mushy peas as we didn't want a large lunch. The staff didn't bat an eyelid and took and served our order in a very friendly and professional manner. It was delicious and just the right amount. We had a lovely lunch with a lime and soda each for approx £16. Would recommend.
Had a fantastic meal, haven’t been since pre Covid and we were chuffed with the whole experience. Staff were friendly on arrival and throughout. Food and drinks arrived quickly. We had a Cheeseburger, Steak Gyros, Chicken Gyros and Halloumi fries all food was super fresh and piping hot. Special thanks to our server Ffion who was lovely and attentive great server.
Food good, not worth what you pay though. I found the restaurant overall a bit shabby and in need of tlc… flaky paint, half painted ceilings, lots of dirty marks on walls, dirty chairs, just overall a very unfinished scruffy kind of look. Which would be ok if the prices reflected this, but premium prices for scruffy pubs is not great. Lots of those tiny little fruit flys everywhere getting in your food whilst you’re trying to eat. Staff very very inattentive, took forever to take orders then you never see them again. Had to go searching every time I wanted a drink or anything else, they literally are not interested in you! I went on a Monday night so they can’t use the “we are busy” excuse. Overall atmosphere is awful, you are trying to relax and enjoy your meal with music and giant tvs both playing sound’s together. As already stated this would be fine if it was cheap pub grub, all this is is overpriced tat. You certainly don’t get the experience you pay for. Save your money and go elsewhere. You go much nicer pubs and pay half of what you do here
We were the only two people in. There were two large tvs with football showing. We asked if it could be turned off but the answer was no someone might come in who wants it on . There was also competing music being played too. The steak sandwiches with chops were extremely overpriced at £10.95. Will not go again.
Nipped out for an early tea-time meal. Service and food were all great, staff were attentive. Great value for an excellent quality meal
