We visited Firdaus in Apr'2019 and the overall experience was awesome -Food was great, ambience was good, live music was just superb (gazals and some old Bollywood songs) and the staff was pretty attentive. We were group of 6 with 3 adults and 3 kids; in addition, I am allergic to cashew and always hesitate to eat outside. We visited Firdaus in Apr'2019 and the overall experience was awesome -Food was great, ambience was good, live music was just superb (gazals and some old Bollywood songs) and the staff was pretty attentive. We were group of 6 with 3 adults and 3 kids; in addition, I am allergic to cashew and always hesitate to eat outside. Here Jahangir Khan (chef) guided me on all the dishes and helped me choose/customize things based on my taste/allergies. I had a phenomenal experience and would strongly recommend it to all.
Extremely attentive staff the fact that my glance at them made them cognizant that I needed something is quite telling of the diligent service. And most of all, the food was an absolute high quality treat. An oasis of freshness, quality, and delicacy in a deluge of cheap fast food that swamps Hyderabad. The meat is well sourced if I am not mistaken. My experiences at Hyderbadi fast food joints made me feel that the meats in general are rubbery and a bit off the mark. Firdaus was exactly the treat that I was looking for and the staff entertained my questions about the famous owner of the hotel while I was there. Taj Krishna is no Faluknuma, but for anyone in the Banjara Hills/Jubilee Hills area it is an absolute treat at a reasonable price. I found them to be meticulous in just about every regard. A1 in every sense. Unfortunately I dined alone and it is the kind of place where you go with someone else due to its ambience and warm setting.
Had a couple of lunches and dinners here over last week when I was in Hyderabad. The experience was marvellous. Great food, good service and beautiful place. Special thanks to Chef Jahangir Khan who had picked choices for my meals. His choices were great. He also made one of the best Haleem; a local delicacy; not to left out the freshly made garlic naan. Definitely a must-go restaurant when you are in Hyderabad.
