Farmers Daughter - Huntsville

We've been coming here in the summer for years. Yes it's expensive and often slow service (chronically understaffed it seems) but EVERYTHING is good here. Not a place to do your regular grocery shopping but it's a fabulous place to buy the good stuff to make a really good meal at the cottage or take out great pre-made food (or sit down and eat there). The food is a mix of organics and fresh produce, high end meats and prepared foods. From coffee to salads, frozen lasagna to decadent desserts this is the place to get yourself a treat - big or small. Every town in cottage country should have a store like this.

Stopped here for lunch while in Huntsville. Service was okay, prices were good for the quality of the food. Had the soupand sandwich. Both were hot and very tasty. This is a place to visit again and again.

Popped in looking for a bowl of soup and was so happy to find a huge selection of home made dishes to satisfy everyone's tastes. The soups are prepared right there in an open kitchen and are beautifully spiced and made the freshest best ingredients. Came back the next day to pick up takeout for dinner and enjoyed delicious lasagna, yummy curried veg, and assorted salads.This will be my go-to stop on many trips across Hwy 60. So glad they are open every day all year round.
