I asked my friend to recommend a good place for soul food and knew he'd steered me well before I'd even gotten the restaurant's front door open. The smell was rich and warm and felt like a hug.Smoked turkey melting off the bones and served in its own sumptuous stock ... Slow cooked greens with a bit of potlikker to drink at the end ... Butter beans that were rich and creamy, perfectly cooked and not at all mushy. And a side of homemade cornbread.Mmmm! Yes, ma'am, pleaseandthankyou!

I had the j chicken and rice, with Mac and cheese, and collard greens. Amazing. This is a place for the grown and sexy. The music is a vibe as well as the outside patio. Very laid-back establishment.Food: 5/5

I am so glad I had a chance to experience this restaurant. The food was sprinkled with LOVE and was so good!! The owner is polite and had the best playlist, so I jammed the whole time my friends and I were there. I will definitely be going back! Thank you
