I ordered the Lobster Fra Diavolo the waiter returned 2 minutes later and said they ran out of lobster, we had an early reservation) so I changed it to shrimp. Two minutes later he tells me they are sending someone out to Pick up a few more lobster since they ran out so quickly. This was a busy Saturday night. Had a wonderful evening at Piccolo once again. The restaurant is beautifully decorated for the holidays and the staff created a festive and lively atmosphere. The scallop special was delicious and the Pork Chop Toomey never disappoints. Extend the fun by checking out the Huntington Holiday Spectacular, just a short drive away from the restaurant. WE LOVE PICOLO!!! The food is sooooo good. Nice small place. The atmosphere is amazing and they have a great choice of wines and cocktails. I've never had a bad experience here. I highly recommend going to Picolo for a nice dinner out. You will definitely not be disappointed! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Service was horrific. Took over an hour to get our food. Had to keep asking the waiter and server and we were kept being told , food will be out shortly. When the food finally came out half the order was wrong. The waiter confirmed the food orders to us numerous times as he appeared to have a brain lapse and couldn 't remember who ordered what. No one came over to ask us how our meal went at all. Everything about this place is ****!!! STAY AWAY!!!!
I had wanted to try Piccolo's for years. I had high expectations for the food and was slightly disappointed. Although the sausage and broccoli rabe Italian egg rolls were awesome. Linguine and clams were good . My short rib tasted more like a pot roast then a typical braised short rib on the bone. The clams oreganata were just ok the sauce was think and the breadcrumbs were kind of bland. I prefer Sal D's across the street for Italian.
