my total turned around a 3 because to make a reservation or not; they still have to wait to sit about 30-45 minutes. I saw people who went to the ground first because they were there first. View all feedback.
What Oliver Vaca doesn't like about Fogo De Chão Huntington Station:
We went for family diner for CHURRASCO experience, but it was a big disappointment. Food was good but we didn’t get to try most of the meats. I think they forgot us or just ignored us. We only got steaks and chicken. They never came with pork ,pork belly ,lamb ,sausage or ribs. We were sitting like idiots waiting for even waiter to ask us if we need drinks or anything else. After 30 min of waiting I approached the gir... View all feedback.
Okay food- but didn’t match the cost. It’s a Salad bar, all you can eat protein served table side style dining. Was a diverse dining room of patrons. Salad bar was beginning to lack freshness by 6:30-7pm. The protein served was: bacon, wrapped sirloin, top, round sirloin, chicken legs, seasoned chicken, prime rib/ribeye, and on one occasion fillet mignon… but it was only okay. They obviously serve the lesser desirables first, leaving you full by the time the guest of honor of proteins arrives. The Bill was $600 for six of us- we did have all you can eat proteins- the salad bar doesn’t call for seconds. We had four desserts and We drank water 2 sodas. not so cheap. For the price this dining experience is towards the bottom. I say Tellers or Vintage is the same cost with a far better experience.
I was very excited to go to dinner. They were very accommodating with the reservation times. I was disappointed at a few minor things, overall it turned out alright. We were seated and waited close to 10 minutes before someone even came over to us. The place was somewhat empty at 4:30 p.m. (reservation time). Which made it a bit more puzzling. The server gave no greeting or introduction, just said I will take your drink order . He quickly walked away. We waited another 10 minutes before another server came over to say, do you know what you are eating? I was puzzled at this question. Nothing else was said. The server finally said do you want the full experience? It was a good thing I looked at the menu before arriving. Overall the meat servings are plenty, but be weary of the vegetables at the buffet. I got very sick on that. I don 't think I will repeat this one.
Wish I could give an overall 4.5 stars because it's not 5 stars but better than 4 stars. Know that you will throw down bucks when you go there but the food is delicious. Not 5 stars because service can be off at times. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
