Big pub would recommend if they hunt, great selection of ale and more likely and a warm welcome.
Had a very enjoyable first visit to the Falcon Tea Room. Shared an afternoon tea with my husband and was most impressed. Delicious one bite sandwiches, an assortment of one bite cakes and a scone with butter, cream jam with a pot of tea. This won't be the last trip, may try a morning coffee tomorrow or may be a visit with my granddaughter on Monday she loves cake! .
Family and extended family totalling 14 descended on the Falcon yesterday afternoon. The staff were absolutely brilliant, despite us arriving late for lunch they weren't phased at all. We were all fed and watered to our complete satisfaction which made our reunion fabulous and memorable.
Fell on this place by accident. By the church in the town tucked away and a very quaint proper old pub felt like I should have seen a pirate in there lol. Dogs fell asleep by one of the many fires. Tracy was a great member of staff Will be back from St Albans
Great pub , awesome choice of beers ciders ! Highly recommended
