This place has been the best subshop in the opposite for over 40 years! I have recommended this place to dozens of people who have nothing but great things to say about this place!!!
Not so great. when I ordered an Italian sub, I received a truthahn sub, which was loaded so heavily with pickles that it was hard to like. I don't want to offend the woman who made that sandwich I didn't tell her about her mistake. the sub was quite tasteless. we will not return.
Love this place, especially when I work in the Pelham area. huge, delicious subparts to a great worth. only the complaining is that their hours are a little funky, and that they have a heavy hand with the salt and pfeffershaker on the steak and cheese substrates. otherwise, fantastic.
I heard about this place for years and their legendary Super Subs Like most legends, they aren't staked in reality. A coworker of mine suggested we stop here when were in the area. He said it had been years since he'd been here and the subs were very good. Well, I can tell you, it will be years before I go back. We both got steak bombs. If you like chewy, dry steak this is your place! I can't believe so many people would say this is the best steak and cheese they have ever had. Apparently they must all have over active salivary glands. I watched them make a chicken parm and saw they used breaded chicken and warmed it on the flat top they cook the steak on. Who does that? Not impressed at all.
Parking was tricky and it was busy... But after eating, I understand the popularity! Quality and quantity. Great food and much of it.
