By when I booked on line to the eve of service and care was excellent, atmosphere was brilliant, waiter and waiter were tented, fast good service, eating was quickly served and was beautiful.
Was here for a meal after my fathers funeral, the staff couldn’t do enough for us, the food was absolutely beautiful and drinks were competitively priced, will definitely be coming back!
Have used this restaurant a few times now and always has been ok. Sadly on our last visit, after the main course, we asked for the dessert menu. The menu came, but no staff approached to ask for our order. There was a large birthday party group, who arrived after us and the staff concentrated on them, rather than concentrate a bit more on the customers who are already dining. After waiting quite a while, we decided to forget the dessert and leave. Upon paying, I mentioned the lack of service to the bar manager. His reply was that they were busy. If you know you are having a large group, get more staff !!!! Our small family dining, was also my birthday. Sorry but on this occasion, you let down customers and yourselves. Give yourselves 5/10
Booked table for 7 on 20th Feb, booking confirmed, and on 13th Mar received a booking reminder. On arriving at the Nags Head we had to wait 15 min to be served a drink there were only 2 staff on duty, one behind the bar and the other in the restaurant. When we went to be shown to our table we were told there was no booking. I produced the confirmation booking to be told Top Table were nothing to do with the Nags Head. They did manage to find us a table because they were very quiet but if they had been busy they wouldn't have been able to accommodate us. I suggest you get your act together and start communicating with your restaurants. We certainly won't be booking through you again or returning to the Nags Head.
