It was expensive for 4 people, but it was entertaining. For the price I wished that the portions were large enough to take leftovers home. The food was at the table for 8 people. 2 different groups. It was funny. I was 1 out of 5 different people who had their daily celebration there, so that was cool. The food was good and the service was great. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Shogun Japanese Grill Sushi:
Almost didn't go here because of the bad reviews, and now I wish I didn't. The food was rough, the dough on my sushi roll was exaggerated and was not cooked all the way. In addition, we got 18% free of charge because we had 6 people, of whom 1 was a baby in a high chair. Never come back. View all feedback.
We went here for a nice dinner and look what happen, we order softdrinks and me as a white guy got my drink in a glass and my fiancee as a black woman got in a Plastic mug. Not a nice experience.
The hibachi chef was amazing! I took my family there for their first time to celebrate father's day and they had a blast. The chefs and our server were great, only giving a four stars because the other servers I had questions for were distracted. I understand since it was a busy and festive day.Vegetarian options: They have noodles and dishes without meat. Limited, but available.Kid-friendliness: High chairs available
This place is a clown show. For combination Hibachi dinners (ex.steak and chicken) you MUST pay for two whole meals. So if chicken cost $15.95 and steak cost $16.95, you would pay $32.90 for a combination of chicken and steak. Essentially paying for two whole dinners. Uh, ok. Next, after my daughter ordered hibachi steak with fried rice, our waiter put her order in as steak fried rice, a completely different dinner item all together that is not Hibachi. Sho Gun is a one and done!
I had my son's graduation dinner here the customer service was horrible, the price quality of the food wasn't worth the price at all. I'm glad we enjoyed the people that were at the graduation and didn't focus on the food. My party was not impressed by the food at all and we spent allot of money. That was my first and last time going.
We’ll be back! Saturday night, April 29, two of us arrived with no reservation around 8 pm for hibachi grill/teppanyaki. In less than 15 minutes, we were seated.?Best part: Food was delicious! Portions are HUGE!Pros: Quick greeting, friendly staff, engaging table chef, and again: the delicious food!Cons: While waiting, we tried to get drinks at the fairly empty bar, but the bartender didn’t even acknowledge us. Yes, he had orders, but he could have at least said Hello! His loss, as we would have closed the drink tab with him and tipped well.At the table, our server forgot one of our drinks, then she was so busy or had tunnel vision) that it took 15 minutes to catch her attention to the missed drink.Minor con: It’s a smidge $3-$5 per meal) more costly than other similar restaurants, but they definitely make up for it with the large portions!Bottom line: We’ll be back for the delicious food. Bring cash to tip your chef directly. They earn it!
