Same thing every time with the same results. Chow down baked potato with chopped brisket with all the fixings TWICE : I have never ate anything else off their menu. Servings are big. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Rack Shack Bbq Wings:
Sigh.....very bland bbq that although it doesn't taste bad ....it's not great either. This that bbq that when you being lazy....you put some meat in the oven...put a little liquid smoke and some bbq sauce on it and call it a night. I had heard good things about this place....but I just was not impressed. The place doesn't even smell like bbq.. so where are they cooking it? I was told the lemonade was homemade...it's... The first time. I liked the spiced ribs and the brisket was good. Wasn't a fan of the sausage and the sides were fine. The wings are decent but big. 4 starts because nicely relaxed place, good food, large portions and great prices!
That was my first time and I was blown away. Burgers are big and juicy with well seasoned frits and the drinks are fresh. I recommend going to everyone if you want a big burger. Are there any tips for the restaurant? Add a menu online
Over the past year I have started going here more. Sometimes the wait can be a little long but my food is always fresh. Some of my families favorites are the peach cobbler, Wednesday burger special, lemon pepper wings (fries hard of course), sweet potato fries, and the brisket. Also their prices a fairly responsible.
I ordered the Fully Loaded Baked Potato with Shredded Brisket. My only complaint is that there were not enough condiments included with the takeout order (such as barbecue sauce, butter, sour cream, etc). I would give it a rating of 4 out of 5 for the food.
I was looking forward to a pleasant surprise at this restaurant, but unfortunately, it did not happen. The brisket was mediocre and tasted like it was cooked by a backyard pit novice. When you advertise yourself as a BBQ restaurant, there are higher expectations. The brisket lacked flavor and had a bland texture, though the fries were a saving grace. The portion size of the sandwich was good. Personally, I believe that Houston BBQ cannot compete with Fort Worth BBQ. I'll stick to Pappas, even though I'm not a fan of chain BBQ. The customer service was decent, but the sauce was too watery. Thank you.
