What Ziv Schwartz doesn't like about Oishii Restaurant:
Got several rolls of sushi for takeout tonight. Restaurant is very busy, line out the door. Unfortunately this is the worst quality sushi I have tasted in a very long time, fish tastes off, rice is bad threw out $30 worth. I have never thrown out sushi before. It is the quality you would expect at a $15 all you can eat Buffett. View all feedback. What Isabella likes about Oishii Restaurant:
I have eaten at Oishii before and after I became a vegetarian. The food regardless of dietary restrictions is amazing and affordable. As a non-vegetarian, I loved the Rosi roll and salmon sashimi but everything is delicous. As a vegetarian, I highly recommend the avocado roll, avocado cucumber roll, kopyo (squash) roll, vegetable tempura roll, pickled radish roll, and vegetable tempura. As for dessert, the tempura ic... read moreOishii, aptly named for "delicious" in Japanese, may be easy to miss on Richmond, but it's a hidden gem that shouldn't be overlooked. This cozy spot offers some of the best sushi in Houston at fairly inexpensive prices. While the wait can be long due to limited seating, the quality of food, excellent service, and unbeatable lunch and happy hour specials make it worth the wait. The sushi is always fresh and bursting with flavor, making it a must-visit for sushi lovers in the Upper Kirby area. With fantastic deals on rolls and drink specials, as well as a bustling atmosphere, Oishii is a popular spot that will leave you satisfied without breaking the bank.
This place is good if you're trying to get some sushi on a buffet! Mediocre quality of fish but very cheap Parking can suck for this place.
Good quality sushi for cheap They have BOGO appetizers (would recommend the tempura squid and the spicy salmon roll, the tofu was okay).
