Black Walnut Cafe - Houston

This place is covered and cozy. it is in rice village, so there are many shops and bars that they can go after eating. eating is great and also the cocktails. I had a **** mary and it was spicy and delicious. I recommend if they like a spicy drink. I ordered it with tito’s vodka. the breakfast plate was good, everything was well cooked except the grotto, they were a little soggy, I like my a little stiffer. overall the personal was friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere was great. for a Saturday afternoon there was not much of a wait, which was also great, because who wants to wake up hungry and wait for hours for a place!

The first time here and we'll be back. place was really nice and clean, decor was cool. eating was fast and hot. I had the wildburger and pommes, and my wife had the pot roast grill cheese. both were amazing and really tasteful. she also got an salate and had the lemon vinaigrette and it was a great combination. tons for shopping after eating. they had weeping and beer available.

Black walnut cafe has the most amazing brunch! every time we left and tried something new, we were not disappointed. so delicious! we had the bacon avocado benedict, brisket benedict, avocado toast with chicken sausage, huh waffeln, lachs omelette and the pecan pie pancake. their lattes are also great!

This place is great. very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. eating was so good, much taste along with a unique menu. we ordered the burger benedict and the Chorizo-Tacco plate. both plates were great. love this place!

My first time at Black Walnut and it was amazing!! I’m glad I decided to try it I wanted to try breakfast but went with the queso it’s outrageously delicious! It has onion roasted peppers and Italian sausage. The burger in this picture is just a kids menu burger and I only ate half it was definitely a filling burger. The garlic mash was perfect as well. Ordered an iced latte with espresso that was very good too! Also they offered me a free gelato on the house since it was my first experience. The flavor was grapefruit, it was a nice and refreshing taste. The experience at this restaurant was amazing and I will definitely be back.
